Generative AI (ie. ChatGPT) is just organizing the stories, concepts of art, and other representations of how we view things in modern times to describe the zeitgeist. One can imagine a similar process happening by human intervention with old myths, fables and sagas, where countless generations and groups have added and subtracted from them, until the meaning of the original author(s) are indiscernible.
It’s a probabilistically derived guess of what the authors would have said if they all got together and reached a consensus.
